We slowly moved ourselves (with Mike and Edith's help - to be fair, Mom thought we were hiring movers) and are finally feeling close to settled. Of course it's a process - there is nothing hung on the walls or accessorized (any interior decorators out there want to work for cheap? But it's coming together.

Tuesday, August 28, 2012. First Day of School. Evie started Mother's Day Out yesterday. These are the first of many "first day" pics to come. Thinking hard about school. This is what happened when I told her to smile big. Last night she wanted to do another shoot. Another big smile. Who could resist that face? And this morning's version of a big smile. Thursday, December 15, 2011. I know we've been missing for a while, and I have so much to catch up on, but what better place to start than with Evie's first birthday? We celebrated December 2-4 with family and friends in Clovis. Edie, Grandad, Grammy, Pops, Papaw, and Aunt Andrea all came out for the festivities! Evie had a joint birthday party with her BFF Sophia, who is two days older than she is. I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking! Where is Grandad's nose? Made by a fellow USAF wife.

Saturday, October 29, 2011. On Thursday, October 27th we had a snow day! Evie mostly had fun. At the snow through the windows all day, but Dad came home early from work to build a snow man with her. As you can see, they had a blast! Fin loved jumping up for a snow "ball". No, E doesn't have snow boots yet so yes, we covered her feet with ziplocs. Whoa, what's this big white thing? Not so sure about the snowman. More playtime with Fin and Dad. Fin and Dad with the finished product. Unusual point of entry.
