There were only a few hairs that were longer than the rest (hairs she has had since she was born). Although Payton was in a cast and needed to be in a sling at all times unless resting, it did not slow her down in the least! Payton did everything she had done before her accident. She tried to get comfy. She bathed (with a plastic bag on her arm). She brushed her teeth. She drank her water. She helped Mom with chores. And she was her CRAZY, ADORABLE self!

We drove up on Saturday morning and drove home on Sunday afternoon. It was short but definitely worth it! The nurses came back and weighed him and bathed him, he was 7lbs 8oz and 19.5 inches long. My mom was able to come and meet him that night, but Griffin and my dad had to stay at home because kids under 12 weren't allowed in the hospital due to RSV season.
