So I got out my Stampin Up Gorgeous Grunge set that hasn't seen much use since I got it a couple months ago. I stamped the various splotches and splats using Distress Inks and spritzing with water. Monday, August 17, 2015. Here's a fun way to mix up using your embossing folders. Emboss just one section, then turn around and emboss the other section leaving an un-embossed area in the center for sentiments or images. Friday, May 29, 2015. Just got some new stamps and dies from PaperTrey Ink. Called Craft Brew. Love the glasses and all the fun labels to create. These are the first cards I've made, using cards from the designers as my inspiration. I'm looking forward to these sets for making more masculine cards for my stash. I need to search my stamps for an orange slice so I can make a Blue Moon! The foam on the Porter is made with felt! I'm pretty sure that's a Deschutes. Black Butte Porter in that glass.

Inside I stamped Welcome, which was from a Stamps of Life set and then added BABY in pink with some alphabet stamps. Monday, August 10, 2015. I was determined to get our big trip to Yellowstone completed before September rolled around and a year had passed. Yippee, it's done! It was so fun to go back and do these, and thank goodness I had decided to make a travel journal and wrote in it each night. This way I had the notes to refresh my memories and some memorabilia saved! These are just a few of the highlights - it was such a fantastic trip. Mark and I are determined to go back again. Friday, August 07, 2015. This is pretty fun to do - color your embossing paste with Distress Ink! Or I suppose any ink you have will work. I made three colors of red and then applied them to cardstock through a stencil! The cute owl and saying are from Unity Stamp Company. I won it a couple weeks ago on a blog hop. Friday, December 19, 2014. Pop Up Box Card. I needed a fun way to package up some gift cards and money for gifts this Christmas so I've been busy making different boxes and cards. This Pop-up box card is cool in that it lays totally flat for mailing if need be. You can find directions for it all over the interweb, here's one good tutorial. Thursday, June 04, 2015. Today I tried some water-coloring for the 30 day coloring challenge. I heat embossed the otter with Versamark and white embossing powder then water colors from the Koi Watercolor set were used to color the cute guy!
