Comments on Kleiman's post (as an economist, he's naturally sympathetic to the idea of market incentives, if uncertain about whether the incentives will actually do what they're supposed to). Paxman, My Hero. The con...

Note to self . must insert bog-standard witty summa. Saturday, April 19, 2003. Three new additions to the scholar blogger roll. Cosma Shalizi. Doing a post-doc at U of Michigan (Ann Arbor), who works on agent based modelling, complexity theory and the like. The Pups and Downs of life as I see it. Thursday, August 28, 2003. I Shall Have No Other Gods Before Me. This would be the first commandment in Christopher Hitchens' personal list of ten. His disdain for Judaeo-Christian tenets are revealed in a recent column. Brought to us by the confused people at Slate. Create them sick, and then command them to be well? What a mad despot this is, and how fortunate we are that he (God) exists only in the minds of his worshippers.". Posted by Robert @ 5:10 PM. Ard atti...
