Thus, to continue the music theme of my recent posts, I've always wondered why "Sloop John B" was on Pet Sounds. Sure, it's a good song, but it just doesn't fit. I mean, if you're going to make what is basically a concept album about the ups and downs of romantic love, why would you stick in the middle a cover song about someone's bad trip to the Bahamas?
