The ideas and ramblings of a middle-aged me. I'm excited to say that Alyssa is now an active member in the National Honor Society! Making the NHS pledge with her classmates. Nick couldn't wait to see the new X-Men:Wolverine movie so we saw it during the afternoon (it was pretty good) and then went for his favorite meal - steak and baked potatoes - at The Outback. The only down side to the day was that Mark could not be with us. Such is life when you are a military family. Showing you his certificate.

Sunday, February 26, 2012. Jake started swimming lessons this weekend. They are every Saturday for six weeks. I put him in the Aqua Ducks class, which is the beginner class for ages 3-5. He’ll be 3 in two months and not afraid of the water, so I thought he’d be ready.). There are 7 kids in his class. He’s the smallest by several inches, the only one that can’t quite touch the bottom of the pool, and the only one in a diaper. Jake is the only one facing backwards.
