Tuesday, March 15, 2011. 4 weeks post op! Time does fly. feeling better mostly - two steps forward, one back. Today was rough. Started my period and my hormones were on like Donkey Kong - I literally felt high. I am wondering if the surgery cause a change in hormones. OMG I can't do this again next month. Sunday, January 22, 2012. Low-carb Mango w/Hint of Blueberry Frozen Yogurt. I got the inspiration for this recipe from Lauren at Healthy Food for Living. I wanted to change a couple things because I wanted to use Splenda and also I added some no sugar added blueberry jam. 2 cups chopped mango. 15 cups Greek yogurt. 1/3 to 1/2 cup Splenda, to your taste. 2 heaping spoonfuls of no sugar added blueberry jam. Saturday, December 31, 2011. 10 1/2 months post op. It definetly has not been easy. Not doing a very good job of taking my vitamins and not drinkin protein shakes. I have been doing pretty good not eating carbs, at least until the holdidays got here. Sigh. So happy the holidays are almost over. I find the whole thing contrived and depressing. For some reason typing takes away any creative thought I had and writing anything I was thinking about earlier is now just a boring sentance. Fuck it.

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. 3 months post op! I didn't update for a loooooong time. Doing good! I am down 51 lbs all together. I am finally able to get into some of my old clothes, so glad. Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Long time no update - 100 lbs down! Well I have finally hit the 100 lb mark of weight loss! At least this time around. My total weight lost is equal to what I now weigh - 175 lbs. I can't believe I ever weighed that much! Mind blowing. I don't have many digital images of myself back then. I am going to get all my printed pictures though soon and will scan some for comparison. I have a lot of pictures of me now because I don't mind my photo being taken anymore! Other stuff I like.
