Monday, December 29, 2008. The Best Christmas Present Ever. Santa brought us the best present ever.a healthy, happy baby boy. He arrived at 11:45 Christmas morning. He weighed in at 9 lbs 7 ozs and 22 inches. His name is Benjamin Kent Crofts. Harrison is adapting. He is starting to learn that he is a big brother and that he has priveleges that babies do not have. We have missed having Jes and Scott and girls with us. Our ten days have gone by too fast. And Amanda was out at a school play. But all in all it was a fun 2 nights. I love the garden and how it makes you feel when you care and nurish it. And boy, I can already taste the tomatoes! He wanted to surprise dad when he came home from work. Dad had planned on doing it among other things so Kade wanted to make the evening easier on him. So after a million and I do mean a million tries at cranking it up, (that included my pregnant old self -if I had video of that you'd be laughing your butts off! In the end - mission accommplished!

Thursday, August 13, 2009. One Week in Paradise. People may mock our not so pristine 2005 Dodge Caravan. But it managed to tote 6 people, 6 bikes, 4 buggy boards and a weeks worth of food from Fort Mill to Edisto Island, in relative comfort I might add! Not a lot to report, quite honestly.
