Life in Clarkdale Arizona. Thursday, July 07, 2011. Excavating for the Tubing Connections. We're on to the next phase. Yesterday they trenched for the tubing connections. There are trenches around the driveway area that are about 5 feet deep and 3 feet wide. If we added water and alligators we would be just like a castle! Life in Clarkdale Arizona. Thursday, July 28, 2011. Counting down to Cool! After all of that is done, then the compressors will be removed, and the openings from the old evaporative coolers will be closed off and secured. After nearly 11 weeks, we are very happy to see this coming to a close! Measuring for ductwork and air returns. The new water heater, existing softener and the hole in the floor which goes to the air returns. The fluid pumps that move the coolant through the system. Monday, July 25, 2011.

Tuesday, September 28, 2010. The Art of Jerome Arizona. This past weekend was our fourth wedding anniversary. My husband and I were married in Jerome Arizona 4 years ago on September 23, 2006. We honeymooned in room 1 of the infamous over-a-hundred year old Connor Hotel, which is the corner room directly above the Spirit Room bar. This weekend we celebrated 4 years of marriage by going back to Jerome. We stayed in the same room of the Connor again. Here is a shot of the Raku Gallery from the outside....

Life in Clarkdale Arizona. Saturday, July 09, 2011. Plumbing the Well Field to the House. After the tubing was in place, the fittings are fused onto the tubing with a special heat tool that melts the plastic on the tube and the fitting at the same time, then the pieces are taken off the tool and pushed together. Life in Clarkdale Arizona. Thursday, September 16, 2010. Sneak Preview of the Summer Project. OK, I know I have been mostly absent for awhile. It's been a busy summer. The landscape project is nearly complete. The insulation project is done. Here are two pix showing a little of the landscape stuff. Our cool (hot? New outdoor fireplace is getting use, even now. Life in Clarkdale Arizona. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. After two months we are finally able to use our driveway and park in the garages again. It seems like forever since we could do this and it was a big inconvenience having to park on the north end of the house and walk back across the property, over the dry creek and up to the door when we came back from grocery shopping.
