Paintings - New and Old. My first trip to Block Island was for an outdoor concert featuring James Cotton. Unfortunately on the ferry ride over the rough seas caused me and many others to experience an unsettled feeling. Needless to say I don't remember the island and not much of the concert. Paintings - New and Old. The space between objects has always fascinated me. The idea that everything is connected and yet nothing is solid. String theory suggests the fundamental description of nature and I strive for a visual equivalent. Painting some of the underlying structures that we cannot see with drips of blue or red, covering over an object and partially rendering it again. Back and forth until something new emerges. Paintings - New and Old. Sometime in the late 90's I grew frustrated using a brush to paint. A plastic bottle made for hair color gave me the ability to divide an area without touching it in any way. The lines would be relatively straight but not exact. Since then I have continued to do some variation of this. Revealing or obscuring an image being divided with lines and color. It's fun to be photographed! 60 Days in Mexico – But Who’s Counting →. Bar Mitzvah at WGBH and Brookline Teen Center. January 17, 2015. WGBH was a great venue for this November Bar Mitzvah. The Yawkey Theater provided a perfect atmosphere for the ceremony. Guests enjoyed a luncheon provided by Max Ultimate Foods immediately following the service. Books and pencils sat on the tables waiting to go home with guests. This fabulous affair was also catered by Max Ultimate Foods. And tagged Brookline Teen Center.
