Wednesday, July 27, 2011. It has been a tradition in the Sorensen Family to celebrate Flamingo Day and everything PINK! I just love this holiday! Every time we come across some flamingo decor we just have to get it to add to our collection. We cleaned the apartment and worked all day to prepare food with just one microwave and a burner! And it all came out perfect in the end. Kelsey got a Thanksgiving package from her Grandmother that had stuffing, potatoes, turkey gravvy and even turkey! It was insanely crowded but everyone got to eat :). Salt Lake City, UT.

Thursday, August 15. Meet my new kitchen. It is spacious and lovely. I think it is dark and with Oregon being an overcast cloudy state, I wanted a bit more light. It is great this way, but I didn't love how the floor and the cabinets blend together. I wanted the floor to pop and the cabinets to pop on their very own. One of my favorite parts of the kitchen is the breakfast nook. LOVE it. It is also that amazing honey color. Just to much of something is never a good thing. hehe. I feel like the floor pops.
