Musings of a wine geek. Saturday, December 03, 2005. 2003 Realm Cellars The Tempest. Popped my one and only bottle. Very nice stuff - here are my notes:. Black cherry, plum, bitter chocolate and mint on the nose. Continues with spice, mocha and earth (rutherford dust? On the palate, with a nice, lingering finish. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes are sourced from the Napanook and Thorvilos Vineyards (I'm not 100% sure on the grape sources, so don't sue me).
