Kunstsaaele, Berlin, 2014. Memory: a process by which information is encoded, stored and retrieved; retaining information over time. Twelve vitrines contain tree discs collected from continents around the world. Upon close inspection, the tree discs are deliberately infused with fungi creating a unique fossil mosaic. Memory seeks to archive the worlds’ forests, but in doing so imposes an anthropocentric system on nature.

Spectrum Deutsches Technik Museum, Berlin, 2013. Thirty ordinary window panes at the Spectrum Deutsches Technik Museum are replaced with a specialized glass fitted with radioactivity detectors. As radioactive particles hit the detectors, the surface of the glass flutters alternating from transparent to opaque and back again. Koinzidenz was realised with the support of Stiftung Deutsches Technik Museum Berlin.

Studio, Berlin, 2013. The sound experience in LR arises from two sound units that are positioned opposite one another above the visitors heads. The sound units resonate in the same frequency and are triggered by the occurrence of radioactive decay processes in the room.
