Monday, April 27, 2009. Gratuitous Cute Rat Photo. How stinkin' cute am I? Day 106 to 115. Friday, April 17, 2009. Day 102 to 105. We have new babies! Two 5 week old fancy rats, Candy and Julie. This is on their second day, they were a little nervous and really enjoyed snuggling together in this cozy fleece tube. This is one of the babies scampering around on their first night in their new home. They were very excited to explore the huge cage. Day 93 to Day 101. Oh my poor neglected blog! Day 91 and 92.

Saturday, January 31, 2009. Day 27, 28, 29 and 30. I am taking the photos, I just fall behind on posting! MQ was home sick yesterday so we had a day of projects. She made some beautiful window art. I use a different mix of beans every time. The black eyed peas were a great addition this time! More snow and rain on the way!

Friday, February 27, 2009. Day 57: Thursday, 2/26/09. We love to decorate cookies anytime of year. We just get packaged sugar cookies in a roll and slice them off and have some fun. LYX suggested that we should have a tradition of decorating cookies for all holidays and season changes and several other events too. So pretty much anytime we wish from what I can tell. Sunday, March 22, 2009. Day 81. The great U.S. of A! We stopped by the dollar store yesterday to look for some black frames for the artwork from yesterday's photo, which we found. While we were there, the kiddo found this puzzle. "Look Mom, isn't this great? A puzzle of the great U.S. of A! Can I buy it, since we're going on a trip soon to the great state of Georgia? He was taking his turn on the bench and he wasn't watching the game. I took a picture right before this one so that I'd be able to show him someday how disinterested he looked. Friday, February 6, 2009. Day 37. TCBY for family night. When asked what she'd like to do for family night, the kiddo said "Let's go to "TCBY", so we did. After sampling several varieties, she finally settled on pralines and cream. Yummy! I had strawberry, also yummy. February 10, 2009 at 5:25 AM. You still have TCBY oh my gosh! I LOVE THAT PLACE! I thought they went out of business. We haven't seen one of those in YEARS! OH man, I'm coming out to see you this summer, forget Disney I want TCBY again.

Saturday, March 21, 2009. A couple pieces of recent artwork, courtesy of the kiddo. I really like these pictures - so bright colored and fun. I may pick up some inexpensive black frames for them. They're slightly smaller than 8-1/2 x 11, so a standard size frame and a black piece of cardstock for the background will work perfectly, I think. Our refrigerator isn't the best place to display artwork, since things stuff tends to get bumped around, knocked on the floor, and touched by messy hands.

We were in Costco last week, and volunteers were giving them away in return for a donation of any size, which would go to benefit the Special Olympics. So the kiddo and I each chose one.
