Friday, December 31, 2010. Good Bye, 2010! New Year's Eve turned out to be whole day of partying! We started the party in the morning at the Lamb's house. We played games, ate great food, and enjoyed great company. We hadn't seen them since school started, so it was a visit much over due. Our 5 hours spent there just weren't enough! Saturday, December 25, 2010. Just like years past, our number of Christmas morning pictures is VERY limited. But, just like always, the kids were VERY well taken care of by Santa. Christmas festivities started the night before with our traditional ham dinner, a special Family Home Evening by Grandma Carol, and the opening of PJs. Saturday, November 21, 2009. Soup or Pie 2009. Blaine and Necha invited us for their annual Soup or Pie celebrations the Saturday before Thanksgiving. It gives the Mann family (and all their friends) a chance to get together, eat yummy soup and pie, and play football. We all had so much fun. Thursday, January 21, 2010. Jake became a scout in August, so this was his first derby. This year our Pack did the Raingutter Regata. I think we were all a little apprehensive about the experience because we didn't know for sure what to expect. Jake and Dad did a good job getting the boat ready. Saturday, December 11, 2010. Sabrina had the opportunity to perform at an Christmas open house sponsered by Macey's. It had been a while since she was able to perform, so we were all excited to see her. She did a wonderful job! Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Miranda entered the Reflections Contest last fall. She decided to enter in the 3-D and Visual Art divisions. We finally got the results and she did great! Above she is pictured with her dragon she made for the 3-D entry that won at the District level and went to Region. She is also holding her Visual Arts entry that won at the school level and went to District. Here is a photograph of ther Visual Arts picture that she handed in. She did it all in pencil.
