What is happening in a school near you. Friday, June 09, 2006. So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye! Well that's it. 22 years and I still haven't put on a production of The Sound of Music. The sun shone as the orienteering teams from all the Cowal schools took part in the annual competition arranged by our PE specialist Fiona McLean. Tighnabruaich won the event so well done. What is happening in a school near you. Tuesday, March 28, 2006. Exciting times for teachers, children and bears! On Monday morning all of my class wrote from Campbell's perspective about his experiences thus far. In pairs the children then supported one another as they typed their entries onto the blog. Of course it is time consuming, but an aspect of education that will make a welcome return with the Curriculum For Excellence. Posted by Morag Macdonald @ 6:25 pm. Saturday, March 25, 2006. Sunday, October 15, 2006. Click on the box above for a link to the film the children made. This teddy blog was done with last year's class who still retain an interest. So before the SETT conference I pulled out the camera and asked them what if anything, they learned from what we did. I have edited nothing. There was no script. They decided the order, and said what they did completely 'off the cuff'. Give the children the tools and they will produce the goods! Posted by Marlynmo at 11:50 pm.

Spent time today in my classroom sorting the computer area and setting the interactive whiteboard up to small person level. I am back in tomorrow to do a bit more sorting and organising.then it's off to Blackpool on Saturday.

Works in Tighnabruiach, a small village near my home town of Dunoon (she told me recently that some of my best friends from school were in Primary 2 when she started teaching there - a very small world when two bloggers unknown to each other have such ties). Blog not a cool very sweet way to get young kids blogging?
