TOTALLY THOMPSON: What an adventure!
http://oxfordthompsons.blogspot.com/2011/02/what-adventure.html
Sunday, February 27, 2011. So, off to Memphis we go. We went to The Peabody for a drink and to check out their Gingerbread Christmas display, then met some good friends for dinner and headed over to the FedEx Forum for the concert. With wolves and helicopters, and lots of drunk people head-banging. Wow. I was glad we had our date night. But can definitely cross this one off my list. I think Willie Nelson concerts are more my speed. Oh, and Baby T had quite a month- concerts from one extreme to another!

Thursday, March 11, 2010. After the bowling bash, we moved on to not 1, not 2, but 3 bars.lots of dancing and lots of fun! One of the bars we went to had a cover for the pool table so that you could dance on it. Obviously our group took over! The craziest dance was when Elizabeth imaginary jump-roped with some random guys.never seen that before :). We moved on to another dance bar. We had so much fun! I jumped the gun- I didn't. TOTALLY THOMPSON: August 2010
http://oxfordthompsons.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 15, 2010. To the Farm we go. After going to and from the beach, and in between painting rooms at the house, we made a much-needed trip to the Farm. The Farm=Booneville. We, as most dog-owners do, refer to special places by names that might not mean anything at all to anyone other than the said dog. Look how HAPPY Mo is when we're headed to the Farm. He LOVES it! Our entertainment was provided by our very own father/in-law and his band, The Good Time Bluegrass Band. What fun! It seems that ...

TOTALLY THOMPSON: January 2011
http://oxfordthompsons.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Sarah, Hayes and I made the trek to Kentucky for some races at Keeneland. And a wild weekend with the boys. It is such fun having nephews that are super close in age- and yes, it's wild. My face usually hurts from smiling after spending time with them! The boys had a blast playing together, and thanks to Jeremy, the sisters did too! Luke, such a big boy! Hayes, distracted with new toys. Joseph, super excited to have a friend his age. Way to go Luke! We had fun watching you!

The McKinley Family: July 2010
http://andrewmckinley.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Oh, My Nose! Poor Andrew fell yesterday and scratched himself up. His nose wasn't even that red last night, but this is how it looked today. Must not hurt because he's all grins! This kid sure does make me happy! To Gimme and Pop's We Go. Pop made the grandkids a homemade slip-n-slide! Andrew was probably a little too young, but Anthony offered to take him down. Slip-n-slides are NOT Andrew's favorite. I couldn't get a picture of it, but he freaked out! A Day at the Lake. A Whol...

The McKinley Family: September 2010
http://andrewmckinley.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 27, 2010. Andrew can say "Pop"! If you know Andrew well, you know that he doesn't say very many things yet. He knows what he's talking about (and we do, too, most of the time), but mostly everything sounds like "DaDa". Well, he has added "Pop" to his small vocabulary! It is one of the sweetest things I've ever heard! Last weekend, Andrew and I loaded up to go spend a long weekend at his Gimme and Pop's house in Mississippi. We had 3 full days there, and it was wonderful! Cool dude with ...

The McKinley Family: May 2011
http://andrewmckinley.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 28, 2011. We took Andrew on his very first Stone Mountain trip a few weeks back. Hold on - I gotta take this call. Top of the mountain. Sunday, May 22, 2011. Big {Sick} Boy Bed. Andrew has been through so much this past month. Let's see if I can remember it all: walking pneumonia, some sort of viral infection, pink eye, an ear infection, the stomach bug (or maybe an allergic reaction to amoxicillin.that is yet to be figured out), and endless. We had a great time celebrating with our family!
