Sunday, July 24, 2011. I just bought these Delphiniums the other day, and I took them home and promptly started shooting some macros! The color in these are totally natural- from the sunset and just-past sunset light. The flowers themselves are pretty pale blues and purples. Supposedly dusk is the "darker part of twilight" but I'm not sure if this is considered darker or lighter. Either way, the sky was pretty. Friday, August 26, 2011. Saturday, August 17, 2013. Views of and from the high line. Last Wednesday, I made a quick trip down to NYC to meet up with a friend of mine who was up from Texas. We had lunch and then checked out The High Line. It's a super neat park/walkway built on an old raised railroad track. It's about a mile or so long and we walked from one end to the other and back again. The High Line, NYC, August 7, 2013. There's art along the sides of the walkway, and this was my favorite. Sunday, February 19, 2012. Last night I painted a teeny. Of my nieces. Stick figure style. The teeny canvas is 3x3 inches. The orange is for scale. :). I dig these little canvases. I might go grab some more. Saturday, February 18, 2012. A project and a half: glass tile photo magnets. I'm thinking about maybe putting some in my etsy shop. What do you think? One inch glass tiles and one inch mini photos. Turned into mini pieces of art:. I packaged each set of 4 magnets in a little gift box.
