Monday, December 22, 2008. Hmmm what to say about tonsils. Well, I don't have mine anymore, and the recovery is a little slower than I was expecting. Today is day 6 and there is still considerable pain when the meds start to run down. The doctor there told me day 5 was the worst, and i am now past that. Looks like Jan 09 may be a busy month here for us. I believe we have sold our house, (ya! I guess i need to take some Advil and get some soup to eat. I am going really enjoy eating real food again!

Saturday, May 12, 2007. Just a quick note to say Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there! Keep up the hard work. Currently reading: In a Sunburned Country by Bill Bryson. Movies that I have enjoyed lately: Catch and Release. Because I Said So. The kids watched Arthur and the Invisibles tonight and they liked it. I am watching Stomp the Yard, but getting very distracted with Facebook and Blogger so I can't really say if I like or dislike it, the dancing in it is cool, tho. Tuesday, May 01, 2007.

Friday, November 10, 2006. MONDAY: It's fun to cook for Tom. Today I made angel food cake. The recipe said beat 12 eggs separately. The neighbors were nice enough to loan me some extra bowls. TUESDAY: Tom wanted fruit salad for supper.The recipe said serve without dressing. So I didn't dress. What a surprise when Tom brought a friend home for supper. SUNDAY: Tom's folks came to dinner. It's hard to see this pic but for the last song they sang a duet sitting in chairs facing each other with and old fashioned mike in between them with their hands on each others knees.
