Daily life and thoughts of Mathews wives. Saturday, May 7, 2011. It's been a while. I'm up to running a full mile or a bit over about twice a week now. Soon I will be attempting it three times a week. And I'm hitting my seventh month of pregnancy. This is GREAT! My only problem is, I have a terribly hard time getting myself to get out there and actually do it. Here's a conversation in my head from this past week: "Oh man. I really don't want to." "But.but you keep saying you WILL! No more loans ever again.

Thursday, December 29, 2011. Here is a very brief little update! In 5 hours we will be at the hospital preparing for an induction so we can finally see our little Jaxon's face! I am excited, anxious, and also nervous! I think this is the most nervous I have been with a delivery! I am just worried about his size and hoping I can deliver him myself without a c-section! Wednesday, July 13, 2011. So I am 16 weeks along now. I have been having a rough past 4 weeks! About a week ago I started spotting and I got so worried that something was wrong! I called my dr and he said that if there is no pain then he is not worried! I spotted for 4 days and was, of course, paranoid the entire time! Wednesday, September 26, 2012. I know I haven't posted anything in a while and I do apologize for that! There have been a lot of changes going on in the past few months. We moved into our new home with a nice big yard at the end of July! Then, I spent the month of August getting unpacked and getting the kids registered and ready for school! Friday, June 10, 2011. Still Hasn't Hit Me Yet! I am almost 12 weeks pregnant and it still hasn't completely hit me yet! I know in my mind that I am pregnant and all of my pregnancy tests were positive! My last visit with my doctor, he measured my uterus with his hands and said everything was the right size. Monday, July 9, 2012. So I haven't posted in a while and I'm sorry. Things have gotten pretty busy around here. We just celebrated Houston's 2nd birthday! Along with that came the start of multiple doctor's visits! On top of all of these doctors appointments coming up, we have found a house with a nice yard to rent. We will be moving August 1st and we are so excited! The kids are excited as well because they know that they will be able to go outside whenever they want and play! July 9, 2012 at 1:13 PM.

Sunday, August 12, 2012. The Arrival of Caitlin Anne. Once admitted to the hospital, the doctor checked me and found out I was already in active labor! Guess Baby Bee wanted to come that day anyways! After a little while of progressing on my own, they decided to break my water. That was when things got real. The contractions that came after that were unbearable! That pain was intense!
