There I was at the end of a long day on my hands and knees pulling ivy from a bed and raking out about two years of leaf matter when my rake prodded something soft. Looks like it was poorly and exposing it to the cold overnight has finished it off. So slipped on latex gloves, gardening gloves and Asda bags (I was taking no chances! And before you could say Ratatouille it was all parcelled up. Brought it home for proper disposal tomorrow, customer happy, wife not.

I had half days work this week to tidy a garden but I could not step on the grass to reach one side of the garden neither could I step onto the bed I could reach as the ground was absolutely sodden. I worked solidly for 4 hours and although you can see a difference it was not what I had planned nor, I suspect, what the customer expected. Roll on dry days.
