Monday, May 4, 2015. Ms Stubborn finally got her new glasses and is wearing them. Because she refused to wear them for almost a year, her lazy eye came back. Back to patching her right eye to strengthen her left eye. She wasn't happy about it, but now she knows the importance of wearing her glasses :-). Friday, November 21, 2014. A Little Taste of Disneyland! What a crazy week! This was my first time to Disneyland as well as Quinn and Emily's. We had so much fun, but man were we all exhausted afterwards! So much to do and see in such a little amount of time. The kids were so well behaved and everything went better than expected. I couldn't wait to get home but it was so sad to leave at the same time. The kids utilized the outdoor pool at least 3 times a day, which the rashes all over them proved it!

Saturday, April 9, 2016. I now know what it is like to live in a house that is "under construction" with a family of 6! Wood floors are now installed, new carpet going in on the stairs and the kids bedrooms, new paint in the living room and dining room, new light fixtures and new molding everywhere! Goodbye 80s look, hello modern! My OCD has been kicked into high gear and the inability to clean due to the construction zone is driving me insane. But, it will be so nice when it is all done.

Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Just My Girl and I. She turned 9 in December, 9 years old.I am halfway done raising her. How the heck did that happen? It makes me so depressed. I don't want to ever be done raising her. As much as she drives me crazy sometimes, I cherish every minute of it. She is no longer a baby but becoming a young adult. I watch her become more independent and it makes me proud and sad. This year I was thrilled when Emily decided to play basketball! It was a proud moment! Just My Girl and I.

Life - we all grow up, huh. Sunday, October 12, 2008. A Family Day At The Orchard. Yesterday we spent part of the day at the Russell Orchard with my family. It was wonderful to spend the time with my dad, stepmom, little brother (who is now driving I must add), hubby and little boy - all together in a place that I went to with my dad as a child. Married.with 4 kids and 4 pets. Thursday, October 8, 2009. Living with a Special Needs Child. Our daughter, O, is 10 years old, but she is developmentally delayed. Which means she functions at about a 4 to 5 year old level socially, and probably lower than that academically. She is mildly mentally retarded and has severe ADHD.
