Recently, two friends got me started on the Redemption series by Karen Kingsbury with Gary Smalley. They are fantastic. Monday, October 31, 2011. From the cutest cheerleader and ladybug around! Saturday, October 29, 2011. While visiting with family in Odessa we took a fun trip to Fiddlesticks Farm. The morning was quite brisk, but it didn’t keep us from enjoying the fun hayride, pumpkin patch, cow train, giant slide, trampoline, cow milking demonstration, piglet races, goat watching and cow petting. (really, whose fall would be complete without a good piglet race? Warning…picture heavy post! Happy Fall y’all!

Sunday, November 27, 2011. We loved the beach! Thank you Carol and Jerry for having us for the holiday. We loved spending it with you. She ran back and forth from the sand to the ocean…her feet hardly touched the ground. Tummy flops in the surf. After a slow start to warm up to the sand, Lauren eventually decided she loved all things beachy. She loved to try and catch the waves in her hands. The only proof that I was also there…. Just another ordinary miracle. Sunday, April 3, 2011. A typical conversation with my aspie. Me and T at a gas station, sitting in the car with the door open and the key in the ignition. Me: turned off the ignition and took the key out to make the dinging stop. Me: "I don't want to listen to that beeping". Me: "Because it's obnoxious". Sounds EXACTLY like ben. Just another ordinary miracle. Saturday, May 29, 2010. How do you explain "Zoning laws" to a 5 year old? How do you explain the importance of an established flower bed without sounding shallow? How do you say "no" to a creature that willingly sits in your lap when nature says they are supposed to run?
