Words Times Words: July 2011
http://wordstimeswords.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Reading and Writing as Many Words as Possible! Wednesday, July 27, 2011. A Decade of Leah. Leah at Huntington Beach in June. Leah with a Danish Santa in Copenhagen. My last child has reached the double-digits. This feels like a milestone to me and represents a new phase in my life and hers. But I was terrified of how we'd get along with four kids in a foreign country, one who was a newborn. Leah was a beautiful baby and turned out to be much easier than a three year old or a seven year old or even a 10 y...

Reading and Writing as Many Words as Possible! Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Mama Goes Back to School Part 3. Here is my report of my first day in high school. Here are the words that represent my experience: acne, BO, zits, yelling across the room, flirting, hiding, reading, texting, blushing, laughing, kicking (desks) and tapping (pencils). Apparently the tapper thought he was in band class. Many times I heard, "What are we supposed to do? Here are words that I said during both classes of 39 students: st...

Words Times Words: February 2012
http://wordstimeswords.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Reading and Writing as Many Words as Possible! Monday, February 20, 2012. Things we "GET" to do. Leah came to me the other day and said, "Look at this." She showed me a blank answer on a piece of homework. Perpetually positive Mr. Olson. She said, "I asked Mr. Olson if I had to do this problem. I didn't think I should have to do it.". Well, what did he say? He said I GET to do this problem, so I HAVE to do it," she sighed. No, you GET to! I don't know if I will be able to apply this principle to cleaning...

Reading and Writing as Many Words as Possible! Tuesday, February 22, 2011. What I've Been Doing. I haven't vanished into winter oblivion. I've been posting at the Daily Herald's Utah Mom Click. I've found a great illustrator for my posts. My friend Mary Lee, who used to live down the street, is the artist/cartoonist/illustrator. She just happens to be the most creative person I know. I consider myself to be very lucky indeed. Here are some of my recent posts. The Dangerous Descent into Driving. Nathan Le...

Besaw Family Blog: A Brief Pause
http://besawfamily.blogspot.com/2008/12/brief-pause.html
Goofy Insights on a Goofy Family. Monday, December 15, 2008. I've been a bit of a slacker with this blog, but this is a really cute story and won't take me long to write so I decided to share. Last night, Tyler was saying his goodnight prayer by the side of his bed. He had said a couple of "thank thee's" and then I heard this, "Uh-oh Dad! Tyler is such a good kid (and smart too! I wish I had a pause button in my life or maybe a mute button for my kids! Maybe he's on to something! He's a funny one. Such a...

Red and Curly: "Enduring to the end means improving to the end."
http://pcheartsbe.blogspot.com/2011/08/to-end-means-improving-to-end.html
Thursday, August 4, 2011. Enduring to the end means improving to the end. Sit tell in the saddle, hold your head up high. Keep your eyes fixed, where the trail meets the sky. And live like you ain't afraid to die. And don't be scared, just enjoy your ride." -Chris LeDoux. Thanks for the many life lessons Lynn. Your funeral was beautiful today. Enjoy your ride, we'll all see you soon enough. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I think this means its real. Enduring to the end means improving to the end.

Kennedy Kartel: December 2010
http://kennedykartel.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 21, 2010. I was so excited, I was getting to go out into the white stuff! Look at me in my "Marshmallow Suit" Right after this picture I told my Mom that I needed to go to the bathroom, and she reminded me that I still wore a diaper and that I should "go with the flow" whatever that means. Look, Look, Look, I made a person that is smaller then me. I set it up and then knocked them down. Muah Ha Ha (in my evil laugh voice). I have my evil laugh, but I am still an angel, see, proof. :).
