Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Sorry for the lack of updates lately. We've had a rough couple of months. As a family we had 7 weeks where at least 3 of us were sick at a time. During that 7 weeks we also had the tile floors in our house bust up and all the flooring in the house had to be replaced. So we had to load 3 sick kids up and stay in a hotel for a week. We made it through and came out praising God for it and at the same time asking for His powerful protection over our family from sickness for a while.

Thursday, December 26, 2013. We were blessed again this year by Kyle's company putting on such a nice Christmas party. Despite being nearly 38 weeks pregnant I put on my fancy heels and we partied hardy. This year the venue was across the street from a historical hotel so Kyle and I took advantage of having a night without kids before little miss makes her arrival. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Red Hot vs Cold Steel. Our local firemen and police officers play each other in a friend (and hilarious) game of baseball once a year. The kids got in free and there was even a BBQ dinner included. The kids favorite part was all the rigs outside the stadium that they got to explore before the game. One of the most special events of the nights was watching Ricky Mantey and Mitch Moran. Throw the first pitch. It was a real tear jerking moment. Labels: Just plain fun.

Monday, May 6, 2013. This year we had a sweet time of celebrating our Lord Jesus just as a family. This year there was no big meal, no Easter eggs got dyed, no resurrection eggs got read and no Easter mountain. We didn't even get a picture as a family that day.which is something I really wanted. Those things didn't not happen on purpose. In fact most days we set out to do them but each night I would lay in bed with them still on my to do list and I was stressed about it.
