Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Well, the deed is done. I have a new knee. The old one was signicant worn out. The dr. said the knee cap was wearing out and would have only lasted another few months at the most. I am really hoping that the left knee never goes out. I don't want to go through this again. I have to go back to work in about 2 1/2 weeks and I can see that it will be hard. We bought a cheap rocker to put in the office so that I have a comfortable place to sit. I love you all. Thursday, April 23, 2009. Here is our favorite cowboy. Don't you think he is a natural. And here we are with the bikes. We enjoyed Alex and Gayle's visit. Gayle looks great and we had fun with both of them. For my birthday, we bought 2 bikes. We thought that we needed an alternate transportation system. So now we have to ride them often enough to get over the sore bottom problem. We started by riding the bikes home (all down hill). now we have to get used to to riding uphill first. Dad and I at Nashville.

We arived in Nashville Saturday afternoon, too late and too tired to do much of anything. This hotel has 2881 rooms divided into sections by enclosed atriums filled with exoctic plants, orchids, waterfalls, fountains, and streams. Sunday, September 7, 2008. Yesterday we took Kennedy to see the Lipizzaner Stallions perform. I told Kennedy that we were going to see dancing horses. She didn't believe. After the performance, she said that I was right the horses did dance. We were all impressed with the horses and their riders. Friday, September 5, 2008. Surgery and other horrible things. I have spent most of the week sleeping in the rocking chair. The cats thought that I was there to play. So I would wake up with a cat chewing on my toes or sleeping on my chest. The worst (woke me up fast) was the cat who walked across my shoulder at 3 in the morning. I am really glad that I have another week before we go to Idaho for the baby blessing. I hope Dad gets some good rest as he will be doing all the driving. View my complete profile.
