Disappointing from last year but still an awesome accomplishment. At least 4 of the boys were sick with the stomach flu for the semi final game. Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Gracie is Baptized- April 6, 2008. Today was a very special day for our family. We all walked into church together, welcoming Gracie into our church community. Of course I tried to put a cute white dress on her which we managed to do despite the 40 degree weather. She is truly a gift from God and we will always be grateful to be chosen to be her parents. I honestly cannot believe it is finally time to go back to Ethiopia and bring Micah and Sarah Faith home! Monday, March 10, 2008. I have a new HERO. his name is Benjamin. He is the man who works at Children's Hospital in the blood lab. This morning we had to take Abel to have his blood taken (just normal tests). I heard from a friend who also adopted, that it was not an easy thing to draw blood from a baby. Well, I learned that SHE WAS RIGHT! First, a woman came in and tried. Poor Abel, he cried and cried. She then said "I am gonna get someone who is a pro". THANK YOU!
