The road well travelled. Mount Saint Helens, Washington. August 10, 2011. The landslide freed explosive gases that had been trapped under the weight of the mountain. This resulted in a horizontal pyroclastic flow that shot boulders, hot ash, and debris at over 300 mph. The road well travelled. August 12, 2011. Sadness is a good way to describe our last few days here. It’s hard to say farewell to our home of 4 years. We love beautiful Chicago and will miss all the excitement of this wonderful city. But most importantly we will miss our great friends who we love dearly. Keeping Family and Friends updated. Friday, December 23, 2011. Hark the Herald Angels Sing: Glory to the Newborn King. Leah had an ingenious idea for decorating our home for Christmas. She cut out the words "HARK THE HERALD ANGELS SING GLORY TO THE NEWBORN KING" and strung them in a banner behind a wooden airplane just like the ones you see at the beach or ball games. Friday, June 28, 2013. Life a Year Later. The last time I posted was almost a year ago! We had just gotten back from a family trip to Florida and I think that I was so overwhelmed with all of the pictures that I just gave up and forgot about the old blog. Trust me, though, the trip was great! A lot has happened since last year. Here are the highlights:. We moved in with Scott's parents. I have completed one year of dental hygiene school. Scott graduated from the University of Utah. We got a new car.

Thursday, February 17, 2011. On February 2nd, I went to the doctor and was once again disappointed that I had not progressed at all. Almost in tears, I left the doctor only to wait for the next day to finally. I rushed home to get my bag and my husband and we were there by 9:15 pm. Here I am before we left:. I don't want to bore everyone with all of the details, but here are a few of the highs:. Having an 8 hour labor. The epidural not hurting as much as I imagined it would. Pushing only three times!

Friday, August 3, 2012. We went on a hike at Donut Falls in April. The water was FREEZING and there was still some snow, but it was the perfect day for a hike! Alice loved the fresh air and all of the rocks. Alice in the carrier. A nice stranger took this for us. A hug for daddy. She loved picking up rocks. August 4, 2012 at 6:44 AM. Alice is such a doll!
