Saturday, 29 January 2011. A young Desert Wheatear comes to Chiba prefecture. I went my parents house via Kanto, then I went there. Wednesday, 23 February 2011. I went to Tomakomai to discuss my study data with my collaborator. After discussion, I had free time at evening, so I was forward to the cavity nest of Flying Squirrel which I saw sometimes in this season but I couldn't take photo. After standing by the tree, an individual was out of nest. As soon as I recognized it, I looked into viewfinder but it was not in hole. To check the exposure, I took a photo and previewed. I heard its voice "jeeeech jeeeeech". Spotted seal in Bakkai.

Sunday, 22 April 2012. A confusing female Wigeon was in flock of Eurasian Wigeon at Mukawa (left one). It is seemed to be a female American wigeon. The feature of American is grayish head and white wind flap. But I didn't see its wind flap. A male American Wigeon stayed here one month ago.
