Blogging to learn…. Or learning to blog? Where is there vote? How ironic : a couple of weeks ago, 27 EU countries held elections for the European parliament. More than 1 out of 2 people did NOT turn up to vote! A week later and a couple of thousand miles away people are risking their lives because they want their vote to be counted! It looks like those who have it for granted don’t care and those who don’t are willing to give their lives for it! What a strange species we are…. June 21, 2009.

A little bit about me. Reflections on my blogging experience. Some of the benefits of blogging for me and others are:. Some young artists find this environment a source to develop an audience for their productions such as music, videos etc. Although I do not consider myself an artist it allowed me to post pictures I have taken and be viewed by other people. Nardi B et al. (2004). No one wants...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Who would you blog for? June 12, 2009. 8212; angelway @ 11:50 am. I don’t have evidence to show others used my posts, but I used some posts in some professional, academic blogs as my references in my assignment. As for the ‘unintended consequences’ of blogging, I think it is interesting that photos are more attractive to get comments from the possible readers! For me, I always read images or video posts in other people’s blogs! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Participatory possibilities of online cultures « Blogging to learn…

Blogging to learn…. Or learning to blog? Participatory possibilities of online cultures. Reading Annita Harris’ article illuminated and supported some of the views I had regarding politics. For starters I always thought that men appear to be more involved in formal politics even though women engage in social activities :. Engagement with political and social issues and action is significant, but this is not reflected or supported at the level of formal politics (p.483-4). June 24, 2009. 1 Comment ».

A little bit about me. Archive for May, 2009. Paulo Coelho quotes from Eleven Minutes. 8220;Passion makes a person stop eating, sleeping, working, feeling at peace. A lot of people are frightened because, when it appears, it demolishes all the old things it finds in its path. Keeping passion at bay or surrendering blindly to it – which of these two attitudes is the least destructive? I don’t know.”. 8220;I can choose either to be a victim of the world or an adventurer in search of treasure. It’...8220;Al...

What if they may try to avoid or hestitate sensitive issues to show their political positions in their personal blog? OR they still choose to keep silence because they know it just wastes time to have debates with someone and when they realise those who are in high positions in politics won’t give any feedback or change?
