The Martian Beer Pig. Is small town in the north of Vancouver Island. It has some fantastic dive sites. I went for a long weekend organised by Rowand's. The trip over wasn't too bad. Because it was a long weekend, the ferries were booked so we had to wait three hours over to the island. But we finally made it in to Port Hardy around 22:00 or so. The Martian Beer Pig. Death to all Pigeons. They don't like pigeons at the train stations here in Vancouver. But rather than just shoot or poison them humanely, they turn it into a bit of a spectator sport and sic raptors on them. Well, maybe not. Actually, they just hire a couple of birds to hang around the station and freak the pigeons out 'til they bugger off somewhere else. The one to the left is a Peregrine Falcon. Her friend is some type of hawk. You can see pictures of both of them here.
