Sunday, 26 April 2015. We headed out to the beach today to get some sun and of course Jack had to take his spear gun. His fish are getting bigger every time he goes out. Today he managed to spear this trevally as well as another fish that I cant remember the name of! He loved being able to clean his fish, cook it on the coals and then eat it straight away. Friday, 17 April 2015. A quick trip to Sydney for work for Mum meant that there was a chance for a quick catch up. Aunty Hanna drove from Sydney for a late dinner and sleep over. They were heading out fishing to a nearby beach and we were lucky to get invited along. Sunday, 31 May 2015. Bristow Comes To Beagle Bay. We had a pretty cool visit from Bristow and one of their helicopters today. Saturday, 2 May 2015. Not being able to sit still Jack found a stick that was shaped like a golf club and set off to play some golf. Saturday, 21 March 2015. We spent the weekend in Broome so Mum could take part in staff PD days. Friday was a Faith Development day and Saturday was a day on the beach and in the pool learning rescue techniques and how to keep our kids safe. Our adventure in the rain at the Otorohanga Kiwi House left me with a cold, and after days of being stuck at home with very bi-polar weather we were both becoming a little stirr-crazy and eager to go exploring again.
