I'm ending the year with money in the bank, a roof over my head, lights on, heat on, gas in the car, a sweet doggie named Hollyrock sleeping on her bed, the most amazing children sleeping in their beds, and a most amazing man by my side. all in all, the year has been good. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Another Year (2013 Edition). It's New Year's Eve! Let's see. this is the first time I've posted since the last couch picture! Life" is my only excuse. sometimes I was down, sometimes I was happy, but I just didn't have a lot of free time I guess. Overall, I can't complain about this year. Monday, April 25, 2011. Another) Day at the Museum. Earlier this year Deuce's class took a field trip to an area children's museum. I got to hang out with them again! Deuce was able to drive an ambulance, be a fireman, be a chef, operate a submarine. OK, maybe he just pretended he was doing those things, but it was still fun! Thursday, October 27, 2011. He took us on a tour! A TOUR OF THE TRAIN! OK, yeah, might not be that exciting for most folks, but if you've ever been around me and seen my absolute silliness when a train whistle blows (kid in a candy-store act), you may have an inkling as to how downright GIDDY I was! Friday, March 23, 2012. I also have to laugh, because it seems like EVERY video of the children we have - from when Deuce first came home from the hospital to Alexis taking her first steps, Chance seemed to always work his way in front of the camera. EVERY VIDEO! But anyway, when he died an old friend of mine sent me this link. The Rainbow Bridge Poem. Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

Saturday, June 18, 2011. Deuce is a Pre-Kindergarten Graduate! The Pre-K classes had their graduation ceremony last week, so my big boy is officially a kindergartner! It was a very nice ceremony - all of the children walked down the aisle (marked with arrows made of tape so they would remember to walk to the front and not to their parents in the crowd! Saturday, July 23, 2011. We went to Asa's company picnic a few weeks ago. Thankfully, whoever planned it, thought it would be nice to do it INDOORS instead of outside! So the company picnic was at a, well, bourgie bowling alley. Private rooms, Wii, Playstation, ping-pong tables, and four private alleys. Oh, and most importantly, AC! The crew had fun! They had a special metal "guide" for the kids (I don't know what it is called), and Deuce at one point got a spare and Alexis got a strike! Love of the Game.

Saturday, December 31, 2011. Another Year (2011 Edition). Once again, it's New Year's Eve! So, it's time for me to post the "couch" picture that I take every year on Christmas - I did take a picture of them on the green couch (I like to compare how high they sit on the cushions each year), but it was about 11:00pm by the time I took the picture, so there was all kinds of craziness involved!
