Friday, January 4, 2013. I knew I would skip a day.just didn't think it would happen this early on in the game! So here I go.a make up for yesterday. Redd loved getting his hands in and pulling out the guts! He even helped move the knife to cut out the pieces. Here he is with his happy pumpkin! Judd and I had never carved pumpkins together and it turned out to be really fun. Redd picked which pumpkins each of us got and through the rest of the month whenever we drove into the driveway, he would point at our pumpkins and tell us who they were. Dad is the scary one, Mom is the happy one, and Redd is the little one! Since Redd is so little, we just do.

This year was Redd's first time Trick or Treating and he was so excited. Judd took him to about 10 houses in the neighborhood and by the 8th he was ready to come home! So even though Sydney is old enough to be in her first of two years of preschool I decided that I would just put her in for 1 year and do home preschool the first year. Judd ran his 2nd Half Marathon this year and Redd wanted to make a sign to cheer him on. A few days before the race he decided exactly what he wanted it to say. Make sure you keep up your energy for running! On our way to meet Judd at the finish line, we passed by some of the runners. One of them happened to be Judd! I rolled down my window and we all yelled for him! As soon as we passed him, Redd asked "Did you hold up the sign? He could hardly wait for his dad to see it! We are so proud of you!
