http://alstutor.blogspot.com/2008/12/have-been-using-my-laptop-and-rodent.html
Monday, 8 December 2008. Have been using my laptop. And rodent pic to show my IT students that blogs can tend to be informal. The idea came to me that next year for IT Practioners, it would be cool to set the classroom up as a "Company office" with 'PearNet' logos up on the wall, and directors etc. appointed. The photo of my lovely daughter is the pic I could find on my USB stcik while all eyes are upon me in the class, Yikes! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Johnny R's 3 Rs. Er or is it really still.

Thursday, 5 June 2008. In our local ' Oxfam. Charity store recently. a big gap when it came to books on 'religion'! There is a big gap for religion / faith / spirituality in many people's hearts and souls, and it is at the root of lots of problems in Britain. But the title is probably inadequate to describe the incredible and far reaching changes we might witness. I also wrote about the controversial potential of the impact of genetic, robotic, artificial intelligence and nanotechnology sciences on our future in GRIN and bear it. Another expression sometimes heard is ' post-human. A future like this?

With the tech preview of Live Mesh was a curious experience – my first reaction was a mixture of “that’s cool! 8221; and “so what? 8221; – the kind of private techie moment where you do something pointless but technically impressive. So I ended up remotely controlling the laptop on my right from the netbook on my left and filmed it and er… blogged it and er…. so what? So I’ve got my Mesh now – big deal. What can I do with it? In security terms...
