Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Sammy's First Day of School. I wasn't sure how today was going to go.Sam is a bit of a momma's boy. I didn't know if he was going to be too keen on this school thing- but I was pleasantly surprised! I feel like I got off easy on that one-I guess he's more ready than I thought he was. Which helps me feel like I'm not pushing him into daycare just because I'm going back to work. Hopefully this is the right timing for all of us! That or he's just saving it up for day 2!

Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Sam's Big Boy Bed. It's official- he's a big boy! No more baby stuff for Sam- he got his birthday present (a new bed) a little early this year and seems to like it.as evidenced by the bouncing. Actually, Ben got the new bed, since his was the one with rails on one side. Sam seems ok with getting Ben's hand-me-down bed.except when he gets stuck trying to get out. He slept pretty well the first night, except for being up a few times. We felt bad for him and obliged his.

Monday, August 24, 2009. So I'm embarking on a new challenge.to run a 1/2 marathon! I've signed up for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation's Half Marathon Challenge. The marathon is in Las Vegas the first weekend of December. Part of the challenge (besides the obvious trying to run 13.1 miles! Is raising a good chunk of change for CCFA. Thursday, January 22, 2009. A little of this, a little of that. This morning Sam put Gorilla in the corner, he said he hit Snoopey. I think I even heard him tell Gorilla, "say sorry, nunkey." Ethan and Elliott gave Sam the Gorilla for Christmas, so we'll chalk that one up to Gorilla adjusting to his new environment, we still love your, Gorilla. It's tough adjusting to a new household. Wednesday, December 24, 2008. Sam is finally old enough to actually stay in "the corner" when you put him there, which is nice. And I have to say I like this house better- it has better corners. no light switches or curtains nearby to get into more trouble during your stay in "the corner.".
