I've started taking more photos in the dark since coming back from travelling, missing last years winter whilst away and the nights drawing in rather early now compared to just a few months ago means there are plenty of opportunities (if we're not in the cloud! Featured image photo is of Yr Eifl looking north, the glow is from caernarfon 20 miles behind.

We travelled from Chile, San Pedro de Atacama to Uyuni in Bolivia. I've forgotten the name of the company who organised it for us, but we felt looked after, we saw some amazing scenes, learned more spanish over the few days we were travelling in the 4x4 and just thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The visibility was great and much better than expected, about 4m for the morning dive whilst out on the spearfishing course in wales.
