Monday, June 8, 2009. It has been a while, I'm sorry! But I'm sure you know we are doing great. We've been very busy with work, losing weight, cycling and some more working! Nicolien is still loving her new job and also booked her first successes. Martyn still going strong as well. In the meantime, it has been raining in Sydney, A LOT! Check out those statistics here. 1200 mm annual rainfall , that's 400 mm more than Amsterdam (500mm more than London). It doesn't rain more here, just harder!

Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Which is the biggest disaster in Australian history. Luckily our state of New South Wales have been spared, and temperatures are cooling. Nicolien and I have had good months, with of course the excellent news of her new job! Besides that, we also visited another festival. Number 7 this summer) and visited the Beautiful town of Brisbane. Oh, and I almost forgot: I did a lesson of helicopter flying! Which was very exciting, but very scary as well. Some photos here.

Sunday, January 18, 2009. 2009 with Nicolien and Martyn. Finally the dust has settled and we have reached 2009 and everything is back to normal. We have had an unforgettable Silly Season. From quad biking. Through sand dunes to the million dollar fire works on the Sydney Harbor Bridge. With just Sjoerd and Lara. From Holland and with a huge group of 20 different nationalities. Wouldn't want it any other way and it promises lots of good things for the New Year. A great start of a great year!
