Don Winter CCM Story-. I first heard Marty in 1950 when I was in the Phoenix Crippled children's Home. We didn't use 'challenged' at that time. I had polio and was recovering in this home, I was 18 at the time. Marty was on Channel 5 doing a 15 minute program called 'CHUCKWAGON TIME'. This story was written and submitted by Pete Joachim. My thanks to Pete for his thoughts and memories.

He and Bobby Sykes, were part of a 'threesome' on stage, doing harmony, and their voices blended in perfectly, even when Marty would try his best to break them up with his antics and funny faces while singing.
