MTFC have partnered with Merthyr Tydfil College to look for a group of 4-6 people to make up a volunteer led film committee. The committee will learn to film, edit and produce footage for free with the help of Richard Davies and the Media Team at Merthyr Tydfil College. Thursday, 12 July 2012. Ukraine visit to Merthyr. Merthyr Town FC will tomorrow host a visit of school children from the city of Donetsk in the Ukraine. The children will have a tour of Penydarren Park and the surrounding area before meeting the Mayor of Merthyr Tydfil Cllr Lisa Mytton in the Town Hall. On the same day that MTFC play host to Yate Town and the charity walk to raise money for PCH Children's Ward, we appeal for more foster parents. Representatives from Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council will be on hand on Saturday 8th December at Penydarren Park as they hold an appeal day to encourage more members of the community to come forward and offer their services as foster parents.

I had an idea but. no it's gone. Monday, 26 November 2012. These things are becoming a rarity of late! Two main reasons, typing with a broken arm sucks and I've started reading A Song of Fire and Ice George RR Martin. And those books are. substantial. I'm 80ish% the way through Game of Thrones at the moment. It's good, long winded, but good stuff. Poor Sean Bean. I had an idea but. no it's gone. Sunday, 30 December 2012. So that was Christmas. Well that's crimbo over for another year, and this years tried its best to add a little variety! Then in the night, with loads to be done at home before we served dinner for 7 the following day, I stayed as let's face it, I'd have got fuck all done, or it would have been done badly, one of the two.
