Monday, January 28, 2013. Art and D&T Week. Last week was Art and D&T Week in Primary. We did lots of exciting things, including making circus collages, using oil pastels on acitate, planning story boxes for our Traction Man work, meeting a professional artist and sculpting clay animals. Tuesday, April 9, 2013. We Are What We Eat - our IPC topic. Last Wednesday morning we visited Pibrac market to find out about local produce and to buy ingredients to make soup. We even found time to do some sketching. Making a fruit salad. Every child brought in a piece of fruit and we made a fruit salad. Year Two: Maths with DST

Wednesday, June 19, 2013. We knew that we would need 401 cubes. This is what we did 4 x 100 1 =401. We multiplied by 4 because each kiss has 4 branches. The 100 is in the sum because we were calculating the result for the 100th kiss and 1 because there is always 1 cube in the middle to hold the branches together. Here are some pictures of us working. Year 2 @ IST. Friday, May 23, 2014. Year 2 had a big surprise today when we were interrupted during handwriting practice with a special delivery from a school fairy.
