Marvelously Mediocre: Please Don't Ask That!!!
http://marvelouslymediocre.blogspot.com/2010/12/please-dont-ask-that.html
Embracing the ordinary in an over-achieving world. December 2, 2010. Please Don't Ask That! I think we all learned in school that there is no such thing as a stupid question. While I understand that teaching this philosophy to our children encourages them to open up and express themselves, it can become confusing in later years when they, as I have, find out that it is a complete lie. There are ALOT of stupid questions. An overabundance, I would go so far as to say. How are you going to DRIVE to Alaska?
Marvelously Mediocre: What Not to Do When Something You Really Want to Happen Actually Happens

Embracing the ordinary in an over-achieving world. November 2, 2010. What Not to Do When Something You Really Want to Happen Actually Happens. I haven't posted in some time and I do apologize for that. Apparently Alaska makes me ADD. Or autistic. Or lazy. Or all of the above. I know, I know, blame it on Alaska, right? I was standing in an elevator with them, and there were no other fans to get in my way! The lesson here is, you know what? Who cares if you look like a starstruck ninny pinny? I would have ...
Marvelously Mediocre: September 2010

Embracing the ordinary in an over-achieving world. September 30, 2010. How to Pack An Insane Amount of Stuff Into An Insanely Tiny Space. I am concerned about the upcoming road trip to Alaska. And by concerned I mean completely freaking out. I'm not sure how this is going to work. Dilemma: Five people and their traveling stuff, Sara's possessions, and two cars to fit it all in. Am I wrong to be panicking? Here is what I imagine we will look like driving up the Alcan, minus the turbans:. September 29, 2010.
Marvelously Mediocre: The Woes of Single-Womanhood!
http://marvelouslymediocre.blogspot.com/2011/03/woes-of-single-womanhood.html
Embracing the ordinary in an over-achieving world. March 5, 2011. The Woes of Single-Womanhood! So, I have been single now for over a year. Let me tell you, it's not easy. I know I sound extremely whiney saying that, seeing as there are quite a few people who have spent much more time single than I have, and whine a lot less about it, but still. It's tough! It's almost as if it was lined with superglue. Is someone playing a bad joke on me? Little did I know that was the least of my problems. Later that d...
Marvelously Mediocre: A Marvelous Announcement
http://marvelouslymediocre.blogspot.com/2011/03/marvelous-announcement.html
Embracing the ordinary in an over-achieving world. March 7, 2011. We're gettin' hitched in June and I am SOOOOO excited! Let me tell you the reactions I've had. Dad: I'm going to kill him. I don't mind going to prison. You're not getting married. Why would you ever do something like that? He's a really nice guy. Are you happy? Are you seriously getting married? Yea, there's something wrong with you. Mom: Me: Um, don't you have anything to say about him. Mom: Me: Mom, can't you say anything about him?

http://thisiswhatimmadeof.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
This Is What I'm Made Of. Scrapblogging True Tales From My Life. Friday, November 19, 2010. My children are made of awesome. Sorry, ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for me to brag on my children. The most disgusting food to me is wontons. It reeked. It was a very strong smell. I won't eat it. My whole family likes it except for me and my brother! Pretty good for a 2nd grader that should be a 1st grader, huh? So dramatic about my wontons. Jeez. They really are delicious, though. My life is MY doing.

WE READ THAT BOOK LAST YEAR! YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT! I HAD PNEUMONIA OR HEAD LICE AND MISSED THE WHOLE THING! Sad, but true.and a little funny (in a laugh or cry kind of way, because her luck last year was just. that. shitty). 10 Things I Did Today. 10 Thought I looked a little bit pretty for a few minutes.

This Is What I'm Made Of. Scrapblogging True Tales From My Life. Monday, March 14, 2011. Just one more way Charlie Sheen is in my life. Wake because he's not only big, but fast. When you inhale a great deal of water, your body instantly makes a choice for you; breathe it into your lungs and drown, or swallow it. My body makes the latter choice (obviously) and I swallow copious amounts of disgusting pool water. This happened 3 times before I got pissed off enough to tell him. My life is MY doing.

This Is What I'm Made Of. Scrapblogging True Tales From My Life. Monday, January 10, 2011. I'm in a good mood. The sun is shining. It might even snow tomorrow (it would totally stick, too). I got my nails done. An old friend contacted me on Facebook. I got my diagnosis changed, along with some of my meds. And this puts me in a good mood how? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This Is What I'm Made Of. Scrapblogging True Tales From My Life. Sunday, December 26, 2010. Into the Thick of It. So it's getting pretty dark in here. I never get used to it. Nothing interests. Nothing inspires. People and places and times are but small details. The cliche that colors just aren't as bright is a cliche for a reason. The pain is immense, but music starves it and sleep saves. Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Multitasking at its finest. It all makes me think back to when I was younger and how I use to always be playing outside on the playground or playing sports, just being active. I'm curious as to if children remember what it is like to be free. We should be teaching our kids, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to be outside and enjoying the beautiful sunshine! Why did Jesus come? October 20, 2014. Why did Jesus come? One of the first answers many will give, is that Jesus came so we can go to Heaven. YES! That is a beautiful truth about the Lord’s coming! But doesn’t that sound so far away? Trust me, I am. To know that because I accept Jesus as my personal savior, I will have eternal life and the hope of that. For all of the other truths that the Bible presents as future promises of having Jesus as my King! But what about for today? 8220;The Spirit of the Lord.

Best Places In Maine. Sunday, September 20, 2015. European Vacation: Rome, Italy II. This is Pietro, our guide, showing us how to use "The Big Nose" fountains that you can find throughout the city. Put your finger in the end of the fountain, and voila! The Oculus of the Pantheon. Of course, we also visited the Colosseum. With a little trickery and some tipping, Pietro took us in the quick way to see this famous site. Without him, we would have been standing in line for hours! More Italian adventures soon!
