All of us at the RISPCA and my family wishes to thank all of you for all your support over the past week. . The laboratory results revealed that the mass on his spleen was a leiomyosarcoma which unfortunately is a malignant tumor. This type of tumor is not one that is overly aggressive however. Marvin, along with Dr. Bruzzi and Dr. Munafo receive "Outstanding Volunteer" awards for their work helping the elderly, disabled and impovershed care for their pets. Held a celebration at Twin River on Wednesday, May 13th honoring many of RI's top volunteers, including Marvin, Dr. Munafo, Dr. Bruzzi and multiple volunteers from the RISPCA! Marvin sends out a big "Congratulations".
