The Pfeil Files: August 2011
http://tandmpfeil.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Stories about the ones we love. Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Charlie and Friends: The Stuffed Brothers. I have a turtle. His name is Charlie. He is filled with stuffing. And I love him. Just look at that face! Mark gave me Charlie on our second wedding anniversary. I clearly remember naming him Charlie as we drove the rental car back to Charlotte from Myrtle Beach, passing the boiled peanut stands that dotted the roadside in SC. Side note: Have you ever driven in the south? They are good palls. I don't know...

The Pfeil Files: Road Trip 2011!
http://tandmpfeil.blogspot.com/2012/10/road-trip-2011.html
Stories about the ones we love. Sunday, October 28, 2012. D This was hands down my favorite roadtrip to date, and I suspect it is because we were not moving anyplace, so our car was not loaded down with supplies and belongings. In fact, we didn't take our car at all! We took a rental and it was fabulous. We decided to take a little roadtrip - down to AL, over to NC, then up to MD and back home again! What to say about Huntsville! All in all, it was a very successful and reassuring visit and we were glad ...

http://tandmpfeil.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Stories about the ones we love. Thursday, November 1, 2012. While Mark was in California enjoying the lovely San Diego weather while attending JPC, I had the opportunity to spend some time in Indianapolis enjoying the lovely company of Adel while we spent a few days together stocking her freezer! Fun, fun for everyone! D And while the weather in Indy was not as delightful as in San Diego, the company couldn't have been better. And truly, we made. So much food. Lasagna, twice baked potatoes, stuff...Mark ...

Stories about the ones we love. Thursday, October 25, 2012. Bookshelf on the other side of the room. We had also both signed up for the same class! Now, you might not think this was significant as college freshmen tend to take similar basic courses. However. This was not a core class. It was an elective. And out of the thousands of students that enrolled that semester, only 12 were in this particular class.and one of them happened to be my room mate. AWESOME! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Pfeil Files: My Mom and Sister
http://tandmpfeil.blogspot.com/2011/12/my-mom-and-sister.html
Stories about the ones we love. Sunday, December 4, 2011. My Mom and Sister. We had been keeping our families updated, and my mom said, "you let me know when you want me to come, and I will be on my way". I am so grateful for my Mom. I felt bad asking her to come, but it meant so, so much to have her here. Mark was really glad she came too. It was a huge relief and wonderful to have people here with us. Loved the pain pills they gave me. I hadn't taken any at the hospital, so I filled the perscriptio...

Stories about the ones we love. Saturday, November 26, 2011. Nesting and mess making. You may have noticed an increase in the posts around here recently about decorating and/or cleaning the house. I was trying to get the house all organized and in shape before we had our baby. I was pretty determined, and even printed off all the baby steps from Fly Lady. And taped them to the back of my bathroom door, totally and completely gearing up for post graduation, pre-baby having, good habit forming boot camp.

Stories about the ones we love. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Magnetron Sputter Deposition System. As soon as they stepped outside or I left the room, I was fighting tears. It was a very new thing, and I didn't quite know what to make of it. I decided I needed some more time to emotionally heal, and Dr. Allain was amazingly understanding. I will never forget his understanding and kindness towards me and Mark during my time at Purdue. UNFORTUNATELY. I learned there were problems with the sample holder ...
