Friday, April 30, 2010. So Adam has been in Puerto Rico for 3 months now, and Luke and I were fortunate enough to go visit him for 2 whole weeks in April! I must say, it was the BEST vacation I've ever had! Adam was so sweet. He had a welcome basket waiting for me and everything :). He was so surprised by how much Luke had grown. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. West Virginia Baby Shower! Adam, Heidi, and I had an awesome time on our trip from South Dakota to West Virginia for my baby shower! We stopped halfway in Illinois to stay with Adam's family over Labor Day. Here is a picture of Adam and his dad after playing tennis:. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. So with Adam gone, I've been motivated to do little crafty art projects to keep my mind off things. Before Luke was born, I wanted to make his name in wooden letters above his crib, but we didn't completely decide on his name until after he was born. I figured now was the perfect opportunity! It's the little things in life that matter most. August 30, 2010. Aunt Sarah and Uncle Matt. My Brother Matt and his wife Sarah also recently flew down from Utah to visit the family. They came to our house for a couple of days for some beach fun, Eli and Brynn love nothing more than the beach with doting Aunt's and Uncle's. Eli loves playing in the waves and running from them. Brynn is so scared of the waves that she won't go in unless being held, which is funny because she begs me to go to the beach.

That our school district designed for kids who have very late birthdays, like Eli. It's perfect for us, 5 days a week, but half day, unlike the full day kindergartners. Monday, February 23, 2009. We are moving south. It is warmer down there! Around 70 right now! There will be a break from all the wind in Rapid City. We get to purchase a home of our own! Ok I had a really down day recently, so I decided to list some of my accomplishments that make me proud of myself. 1 finishing my bachelor's degree. 2 planting and growing my own garden. 4 filling my pantry with healthy, home-canned food. 5 finishing Insanity (the workout) and losing all the baby weight, plus some, in 4 months. 6 being on time wherever I go. 7 reading books to my children every day. 8 keeping my house in order (except for one room! I feel better already.
