I could touch the ceiling and I am 5’2”. If you were taller, say 5’6’’ you would need to be very careful when entering into the room.I understand this was a typically accommodations for hotel rooms. With the current situation, that is many global travelers, tall, short, skinny, not so skinny,Japan has to rethink these bit-size rooms.

Friday, May 22, 2009. Our group used every mode of transportation that was available including walking. Transportation is key to the market place and the world and Taiwan and Japan truly understand how to get from point A to point B efficiently and economically. The various methods are eco- friendly such as bikes, buses seeing that it is a form of carpooling at it best, and especially the trains that take you quickly from city to city. Monday, June 1, 2009. On our last day in Japan, we took a tour of the Hikone Castle. This was the place of refuge for the Emperor. It is located in beautiful surrounding. Year ago it was surround by water to impede attack on the castle. To say the least it was a great workout and adventure. After the tour we had our farewell lunch.
