On the Road Again. Keeping up with Family and Friends. Karen, Bill, Mango and Pearl. Sunday, November 05, 2006. We've made it as far south as North Carolina(11-5) but the the following pictures are from Newport News, VA where we were visiting our friends, the Laurrells and the Hermans. We very much enjoyed seeing everyone and also think the Virginia Beach area is beautiful and very interesting with all the naval and shipping activity. Twisted Tree at the reservoir. Early morning on the reservoir. October...

The Billings' family: October 2010

Thursday, October 28, 2010. One of the things we really enjoy about Maine are the beaches. Jason and Ivan love to skip rocks on the water. One day while we were at the beach we noticed small pieces of glass in with the sand and rocks. So while Jason and Ivan skipped rocks I looked for sea glass. It's something that we really enjoy doing when the weather permits. Here is what our collection looks like now (we also have a bunch of pottery pieces but as you can see we didn't have enough room at the window).

Contemplating life through images. Friday, December 7, 2007. Today I was told that I should be posting more. I suppose she was right, she usually is. So I will share with you the reason my life is so chaotic at the moment. These are photos of my bedroom and my office. This is George, under my house. He is my cousin here helping with the house. I am thinking that at this moment he is wondering why? I guess he didn't like me taking his picture. He threatened me with the nail gun. I ignored him.

Contemplating life through images. Monday, February 11, 2008. I still remember Caleb saying to me, "Mom! You know I don't like babies! I would hear this anytime I expected him to be around any children smaller then he was at the time. It seems he has changed a little in the last couple of years. Here he is holding Jeremiah while watching television. They were both quite content. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. On The Road Again. Thursday, February 11, 2010. I’m on Attu Island in Alaska as I write this. How insane is that? I’m 1,100 miles from mainland Alaska and I can still play poker and blog on the Internet. It is, admittedly, rather choppy Internet . (It's no worse than Maine in similar weather.). The weather is awful! Half the time they’re plastered with snow from the drifts! Monday, February 8, 2010. If my prognostication record were a batting average I’d be in the Hall of Fame. That’s even in this Athletes ...Sometimes I g...
