Monday, March 31, 2014. Spring Break to D.C. When we left Rebecca's house early yesterday morning it was raining super hard and by the time we made it to the same mountains again it was snowing pretty hard and the roads were terrible! I stopped breathing a couple of times and was clutching the sides of the car - because holding onto the door would totally keep the semi from ramming into us, right? This is a pic of the boys running wild through the hallways from which we were subsequently shushed out.

Tuesday, June 16, 2015. We went to Nauvoo on Saturday and Ibby was able to do baptisms in the temple for the first time. No pics of her on her special day, but I took a couple of the boys at the park we visited while we were waiting for everyone else! Monday, May 26, 2014. But it is giving me a chance to write in my blog and I don't even have the baby today, yay! I just feel so bad for her! We always enjoy romping around cemeteries! Friday, January 30, 2015. I absolutely love the artist Brian Kershishnik. I still remember encountering his painting of the nativity in April of 2007 at an exhibit at the BYU museum of art. They have since acquired the original for their permanent collection and it is exquisite! Thursday, February 27, 2014. Today is Lucy's 14th birthday! I can't believe that she is that old! I remember that morning pretty clearly. I especially remember how she wanted to nurse and nurse. Iwthin a couple of days I was in so much pain - and it didn't let up for a while. I also tore quite badly so taht was pretty miserable, too. I think that was the worst of all the babies. But we loved her! Plus, we couldn't afford anything. We were so poor! But I should definitely spend less now. Oh, yessiree!

Saturday, July 19, 2014. I thought I got all my tears out last night, but Lachlan did this little whimper and reached out for Bear as he disappeared onto the bus and I lost it again. I had to go to Walmart right after, and I kept my sunglasses on inside so nobody would see my messed up makeup. Both Bear and I got priesthood blessings this morning and that helped a lot too. I believe that if we rely on the Lord, he can stretch us and compensate for our weaknesses if we really are trying our best.
