Friday, March 31, 2006. Soggy walk to the aquarium. Again due to poor formatting, I have to put the pictures first. These are from the aquarium in Galway. I'm just getting back from a long wet walk to the aquarium. Another American who's staying at the hostel and I decided to walk down and check it out. Sunday, April 30, 2006. Well, I just paid $6 for this internet connection. It was supposed to be a 24 hour pass, with a USB port so I could upload pictures. Now it appears that I have access for 3 hours and the uploading won't work. Of course, it's not staffed so tough nails. Don't get me wrong, I love London, but this seems to fit the theme. Friday, June 09, 2006. My first impression upon walking on the ship was its tremendous size! We boarded at staircase C (there are four staircases onboard) and my stateroom was past staircase A, it took a bit of time to walk down there! Here's a shot of the hallway, the end can barely be seen! Fortunately it was hard to get lost because there were plenty of maps around the ship, like this one:. I was very lucky to not be working, and could basically play all weekend. Started out with Fancy Date Breakfast with Scott. We figured it’s been forever since we dressed in nice clothes for a date. Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Lake Maria solo trip Feb 25th 2015. Having a lot of weekdays off makes it easy to get a quick overnight to Lake Maria. This year’s trip was cold again, but still about 10-20 degrees warmer than last year’s trip. And this time the cabin was already warm when I arrived. Putting more logs on. Sunday, December 14, 2014. Savage Fen SNA – wide angle / macro lens. Despite being December 14th, it hit 50 degrees today! So Scott and I headed out to a nearby SNA for some exploration. First of course we hit a Target and Walmart on the way (no good Hotwheels though), then an IHOP for some ridiculous “food”. I got bon-bon pancakes and they were amazing. Then we went exploring the deer trails in the SNA. I kept switching between my new 100mm macro lens and a 10mm wide angle. Someone’s been shooting.
