Where better than So Cal.the place where we met and started our lives together? We spent lots of time at the beach.ahhhhhhh! It was all so overwhelming at times, yet, so comfortable and sweet! We witnessed a dear friend committing her life to another, caught up with more dear friends and spent time with my Shaffers! Beautiful words from a beautiful woman!

Wednesday, December 14, 2011. My beautiful, bright, articulate, compassionate and passionate daughter just turned 7 with great JOY! She was counting down the days months before! This year we did a couple of weeks of celebrating. We had a family party with her birthday month partner, Brenny, she had a Party Palooza at the Toy Station with many friends, a school celebration with fancy cupcakes, her name on the school marquee (BIG hit! It is hard to believe my baby girl is already 7 and in first grade!

Saturday, July 4, 2009. We knew Kymi was ours at 2 days old, just 5 weeks after our first contact with The Home of God's Love in Taiwan. And exactly four years ago today, when she was 7.5 months old, we finally got to be together as a family! I remember when we FINALLY got there and picked her up that it took her a second to recognize us, but then she KNEW.she knew we were hers! Kymi could not be anymore "his own" if she grew from his right arm! Loved from the start, taken care of, hoped for, wanted?

Being a mom certainly has it's ups and downs.yesterday frustration was running high with a huge headache and two kids that seemed to be bickering FAR more than having fun with each other.
